Background: The sexually transmitted diseases in merried couples of reproductive age are one of problem reproductive health until now still occurred. Objective: This study aimed to analyze the independent variables (characteristics, knowledge, and attitudes of respondents) who are more involved (dominant) related to sexually transmitted diseases in clinic “Y”, Indragiri Hulu. Methods: This research is a quantitative study with cross-sectional design. The sample consist of 30 respondens selected by accidental sampling. The research was conducted in May-June 2015 in clinic “Y” in Indragiri Hulu. The data were analyzed with univariate, bivariate, and multivariate methods. Results: The merried couples of reproductive age with high knowledge were 0.020 times more than high in old adult age compared with young adult age; marital status were 17.295 times more than high compared with non-marital status. The dominant variables on attitude is age and marital status. Conclusion: This study showed that there was a relationship between age and marital status with attitude in couples of reproductive age in clinic “Y” in Indragiri Hulu.
