dc.descriptionMosquito-borne diseases such as malaria, dengue fever, lymphatic filariasis, chikungunya still aproblem in indonesia. Data on mosquito vector-borne diseases is needed in the control ofmosquito-borne disease vectors. The purpose of this study was to identify the dynamics ofpopulation vector mosquito and habitats around in the Rowokele SubDistrict Kebumen RegencyCentral Java Province. This research is a descriptive exploratory study. Design of this study useda design method of spot surveys. Found 13 species of mosquitoes in the study site Wagirpandansub Desa Rowokele Kebumen the Anopheles aconitus. An. annularis. An. barbirostris. An.balabacensis. An. kochi. An. maculates. An. vagus, Aedes albopictus, Ae. poecillius, Culexvishnui, Cx. quinquifasciatus, Armigeres kuchingensis and Ar. subalbatus. An. aconitus. An.barbirostris. An. balabacensis. An. maculatus and An. vagus have been confirmed as vectors ofmalaria. High blood sucking activity at night at around 18:00 to 2:00 with the highest density at20.00-21.00 hrs. Breeding sites of mosquito larvae found in ground pool, around streams andaround rice fields. It was also found around the springs to life people activities. Theenvironmental factors of temperature, humidity and rainfall and vegetation to support theexistence of mosquito vector breeding habitats of mosquitoes at the areas.Keywords: Dinamics of Population, Vector, Rowokele Penyakit vektor seperti malaria, demam berdarah, limfatik filariasis, chikungunya masihmenjadi masalah di Indonesia. Data tentang nyamuk vektor penular penyakit sangat diperlukandalam pengendalian penyakit yang ditularkan oleh nyamuk vektor. Tujuan penelitian ini adalahuntuk mengidentifikasi dinamika populasi fauna nyamuk yang diduga vektor dan habitatlingkungan di Kecamatan Rowokele Kabupaten Kebumen Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Jenispenelitian ini adalah deskriptif eksploratif. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan metodespot survci. Ditemukan 13 spesies nyamuk di lokasi penelitian Desa Wagirpandan KecamatanRowokele Kabupaten Kebumen yaitu Anopheles aconitus, An. annularis, An. barbirostris, An.balabacensis, An. kochi, An. maculatus, An. vagus, Aedes albopictus, Ae. poecillius, Cx. vishnui Cx. quinquifasciatus, Armigeres kuchingensis dan Ar. subalbatus. An. aconitus, An. barbirostris,An. balabacensis, An. maculatus dan An. vagus pernah dikonfirmasi sebagai vektor malaria.Aktivitas menghisap darah yang tinggi pada malam hari sekitar pukul 18.00 - 02.00 dengankepadatan tertinggi pada pukul 20.00-21.00 WIB. Tempat pcrkembangbiakan larva nyamukditcmukan di genangan-genangan air pada kobakan-kobakan di sekitar aliran sungai yangmcngering dan di sekitar persawahan. Ditemukan juga di sekitar sumber mata air penduduk.Faktor lingkungan suhu, kelcmbaban dan curah hujan serta vegetasi mendukung terhadap habitatpcrkembangbiakan kebcradaan nyamuk yang diduga vektor di lokasi penelitian.Kata Kunci: Dinamika Populasi, Vektor, Rowokeleen-US
