      HUBUNGAN ANEMIA DENGAN PENGETAHUAN GIZI,KONSUMSI FE, PROTEIN, VITAMIN C, DAN POLA HAID PADA MAHASISWA PUTRI

      Abstract
      The prevalence of anemia on girls adolesence 15-19 y olds was 26.5 %, and on women 20 – 29 y old was 25.3%. In 2010, the result of Yogyakarta Health Polytechnic research showed that the average of female college Hb level was 13.06 ± 1.19 g/dl, with range 9.1 g/dl to 16.5 g/dl, while prevalence of anemia was 7.4 %. The research goal is to investigated the relationship between nutrition knowledge, nutrition intake, and menstrual pattern with anemia in female college of Yogyakarta Health Polytechnic. This study was observational research with cross sectional design. The data was collected on November 2011. The population were all Diploma III 1st grade female college of nutrition, nursing and health environmental department, amounted 209 people. Subjects were unpregnant women and will be research participant, amounted 160 people. The data was analysis by Pearson correlation and rank spearman. The prevalence of anemia was 5.61 %, 54.38 % subject have low nutrition knowledge, and all of nutrition intake was low, such as protein (45.62%), iron (87.51%), vitamin C ( 73.76%), and 68.73% subject have irreguler menstrual period. The analysis statistic showed that there’s no significant relationship between nutrition knowledge with anemia (p=1.000), protein intake with anemia (p=0.416), iron intake with anemia (p=0.339), vitamin C intake with anemia level (p=0.654) and menstrual period with hemoglobin level (p=0.953).This study showed no relationship between nutrition knowledge, iron intake, protein intake, vitamin C intake, and menstrual period with hemoglobin level in female college.
